Background

Daniel Guerrero is a Web Engineer, he have worked in many international projects which have proved a good ROI (many of them being acquired by larger companies).
He has expertise on PHP and a great experience on MySQL, Javascript and Adobe Flex.
Lately he has been working and learning under Design Patterns, Human-Computer Interaction and focusing on Usability on web.
He is the co-author of a School Book for High-School level about Computers components. He also had taught programming courses to undergraduates in its University.
On his few spare times he likes to take Photographs discovering unknown places and keep updated on science.

Developer Skills

My working field and expertise is on Web Developing, I also have knowledge of other languages like C/C++, Python, Flash, etc.

• PHP, my major language for developing, I can work with custom extensions or several frameworks better with PHP5.
• Javascript, I've been working very hard to have also expertise on this language, currently I'm working with AJAX and with Usability in mind to deploy new UIs.
• Adobe Flex, without doubt the next step on RIA and User Interfaces, I'm working both with Adobe Flex 3 or Adobe Flex 2
• MySQL, worked with several features of this DB, like spatial indexs or Information Retrieval for easy searching

In terms of my professional formation, I like the research in areas of: Artificial Intelligence (from Cognitive approach), Information Retrieval, Virtualization and Computer Graphics.

Also I'm deep interested in Human-Computer Interactions (HCI), Usability and Information Architecture which are the main topics of current formation and knowledge.
